Stockton Dry Dock Company.
The company operates from a large, modern well equipped covered dock. The dry dock is large enough to accommodate two full length narrow boats side by side, with plenty of room to gain all round access.
With the dock situated centrally on the Grand Union Canal at Stockton in Warwickshire, the dock is within reach of the heart of England’s canals and is never far from any boating destination.


History
The Warwickshire Fly Boat Company has, over the years, built up an excellent reputation of highly skilled crafts men and extensive knowledge of boat building and restoration work. Graeme Pearce having worked for them for fourteen years, has a vast amount of experience of this type of work. Since taking over the dock at Stockton Graeme has added to the prominence of the dock as one of the foremost dry docks on the UK canal system. He has every intention of the Stockton Dry Dock Company further extending this reputation. From re-bottoming , lengthening and re-footing working boats to hot riveting hulls and cabins, the Stockton Dry Dock Company has the experience and unique expertise to restore and repair any type of working boat to whatever condition is required.

Stockton Dry Dock Company offer a full boat blacking service to include pressure washing, wire brushing and two coats of tar varnish. This is done on a price per foot basis which also includes a thorough checking of the hull, stern tube and anodes. Any problems that are found can also be rectified.
Whilst on the dock it is also possible to arrange for a surveyor to come and inspect your boat for C of C, purchase or insurance purposes.
